The Benefits Of Adopting A Fitness Lifestyle......

So I have been very vocal about my fitness lifestyle and how I enjoy working out for various reasons. However, I wanted to also share some of the textbook benefits to adopting a fit lifestyle. Please see the following below: 
  • Exercise controls weight: As we all know exercise helps to prevent excess weight gain and can help to maintain weight loss. When you engage in physical activity, you burn more calories. The more intense the activity, the more calories you burn. 
  • Exercise combats health conditions and diseases: Exercising decreases your risk of cardiovascular diseases and high blood pressure. Exercise can prevent or help you manage having a stroke, metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, depression, certain times of cancer, arthritis, and falls. 
  • Exercise improves moods: Physical activity stimulates various brain chemicals that may leave you feeling happier and more relaxed. You may also feel better about your appearance and yourself when you exercise regularly, which can boost your confidence and improve your self esteem.
  • Exercise boosts energy: Exercise and physical activity deliver oxygen and nutrients to your tissues and help your cardiovascular system work more efficiently. When your heart and lungs work more efficiently, you have more energy to go about your daily chores. 
  • Exercise promotes better sleep: Regular physical activity can help you fall asleep faster and deepen your sleep.
  • Exercise puts the spark back into your sex life: Regular physical activity can lead to enhanced arousal for women. Men who exercise regularly are less likely to have problems with erectile dysfunction. Regular physical activity can also leave you feeling energized and looking better, which may have a positive effect on your sex life.
I would have NEVER worn a workout outfit like this to the gym!! It just goes to show how my consistent workouts are really paying off!! I don't know about you, but these are good enough reasons for me to continue with adopting the fitness lifestyle!!!
